When running KDE 3.1.1 with XFree 4.3 with xinerama turned on, KDE works very well. It does smart window placement and the toolbars know where and how large to be. When running KDE 3.2 with XFree 4.4.0 with xinerama turned on, KDE sees only one large display. I could probably learn to get along with it except for the fact that dialogs and new windows are popping up across both monitors. The awareness that there are two displays is gone. How do I turn that back on? Any pointers will be appreciated.
