problems with Solaris 9 and Matrox adapter

Hello:
My name is James Perry and I am an electrical engineer for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Newport RI. I am sending this email on the suggestion at the end of the log file generated from XFree86. I have been trying to install a Matrox Graphics MGA G400 video adapter into a Dell PC with Solaris 9 as the operating system and using XFree86 as the X server. Unfortunately up to now it has been nothing but failure. I am enclosing my XFConfig86 file as well as the XFree86.0.log file. The server aborts and I can not figure out why it happens. I was receiving errors on previous attempts, but I have changed the config file to eliminate most of those. I also found documentation about needing mga_hal so I have that and the log file seems to reflect that as such. If you have any help whatsoever I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Sincerely,
James Perry
