XFree86 4.4.0: Matrox Mystique won't work

Hello,

4.4.0 is giving me grief: I have a Matrox Mystique 4MB which works well
under 4.2.x. Under 4.4.0 I get a bunch of kernel related problems, see
these lines from the syslog:

Apr 16 23:58:39 highscreen kernel: invalid operand: 0000

>From the XFree.0.log I see that the card is probed and identified
correctly, but apart from a blank screen and the kernel message I don't get
anything. - Actually, the same problem was already present in 4.3.x; I
reported it way back then.

Does anyone have an idea - looks like a bug to me, but I'm no expert.

Regards

Andreas
