   Usually this is just a matter of having the monitor specifications
listed correctly in the XF86Config file.  Specificially, the HorizSync
and VertRefresh in the Section "Monitor".  Most XFree86 configuration
mechanisms will set this up, but if it couldn't determine the monitor
type or you specified a generic monitor, this gets filled in with
the specifications of a basic VGA monitor (ie. 640x480).
