question about compiling linux-drm-4.4.0-kernelsource

Hi,

In order to patch my kernel with the latest DRM drivers so that I enable direct rendering with my SiS graphics card, I got the latest linux-drm-4.4.0-kernelsource from http://www.xfree86.org/~alanh/

I untarred it in /usr/src/linux/drivers/char/drm/
Then I tried to compile it with "make -f Makefile.linux" but that ends with an error that it can't find certain files (among others sisfb.h).

Main question is: what am I doing wrong?
Second: is the DRI bug for SiS cards actually fixed? Otherwise the whole excercise is unnecessary anyway ;-)

Thanks for your attention!

Kind regards, Leon.
