No logs were attached. If this is a GeForce4 420 Go chip, you'll need to be using at least XFree86 4.3 for it to have native support (even then, it might require some tweaking so 4.4 is recommended). Alternatively you can download binary Linux drivers from NVIDIA's web site. Those should work with your current XFree86 version. Mark.
