Hi all. I'm try to start X ( XFree86
4.4.*) on a Dell Latitude D505 Laptop with Intel i852/855 GM video device but
it crashes ( 11 signal). I know there's a
problem with a BIOS. I worked around the green
screen locked situation during system startup,
installing the Intel video driver for i852/855 GM video device. Now system startup (I'm running Fedora Core 1
with XFree 4.4 ) but X still crashes. I read about 855wrap but I
couldn't find this script any whare.
Any body knows where can I find this script? I read about "Alain
POIRIER" and "Alan Hourihane" form
e-mail where they declare to had fix the problem Due to call : 830DetectDisplayDevice() inside i830 device driver (?) but I could not find any driver update. Any
body knows where can I find update about those
driver in binary format? Or any body can help me in
