extended desktop on 852gm (i810)

Hi,

i'm trying to use a second external monitor to have an extended desktop 
(i don't want to have a cloned view).

Unfortunately i doesn't work with my XF86Config-4 (enclosed). I tried it 
by doing

	startx -- -layout multi

but i only got a cloned view. What's wrong?
