Hi everybody, I'm having problems getting XFree86 to work with my TV. I have set up my XF86Config to have different layouts, the default of which is a dual-monitor configuration. I have also set up a monitor+TV configuration that I copied-and-changed from somebody on the internet [he said that the configuration worked for him]. My problem is that the "TV Standards" that are reported as supported in the XFree86 logs are 0x0 for the ones that the nVidia driver says it supports (which are PAL and NTSC): (II) NVIDIA(0): TV Standard: PAL-M, NTSC-M, or NTSC-J: 0x0 (II) NVIDIA(0): TV Standard: PAL-BDGHI, PAL-N, or PAL-NC: 0x0 (II) NVIDIA(0): TV Standard: HD480i: 720x480 (II) NVIDIA(0): TV Standard: HD480p: 720x480 Unfortunately, when I tell XFree86 to use the TV Standard of NTSC-M it says that there are no supported resolutions. When I tell it to use any of the "HD" standards, I get (for example): (WW) NVIDIA(0): Unknown TV Standard "HD1080i"; defaulting to "NTSC-M" I have tried many different settings and none of them seem to work. I have e-mailed Asus and they suggested contacting you XFree86 folk about the problem. I can't seem to find any information from/about nVidia's driver... Could somebody please help me with this?
