You are running XFree86 4.1.0 that's over 2 years old.

I'd try either XFree86 4.3.0 or the newly released XFree86 4.4.0.


Which means he'll have to upgrade to Debian Sarge, if he has a fast enough internet connection.


There are backports of 4.3 for woody.
