Starting XFree86 always results with an error:
fatal error: no screens found
I'm running XFree86 4.3.0 with Mandrake 9.2. I have a Panasonic E70 monitor and ATI Radeon 9600 XT 128MB graphic card.
Changing graphic hardware configuration options from Mandrake's installation program doesn't help. After lots of changed parameters I also got an error: "Unable to determine screen layout".
The attached XFree86 log doesn't mention Radeon 9600XT at all (It does mention other ATI's cards).
What can I do?
