I have a problem that seems to be related with Xfree86.
This happens when the computer is idle for some minutes. It goes to sleep mode and the monitor turns off. When i want to wake up it, it goes back to the login screen.
In some situations the mouse doesn't work and i have to press Ctrl+Alt+Backspace to restart X again.
You can see part of the XFree86.0.log at the end of the message.
The problem happens with both gnome and kde. I have the kernel 2.4.21 (it's a Mandrake 9.1).
My video board is 82845 CGC [Chipset Graphics Controller]
