   That looks like an SiS driver bug.  I don't know much about
the SiS driver myself.  Perhaps you could try one of the pre-4.4
XFree86 snapshots?    

   Also, I think you may be able to use the sis driver from 4.2 with
your 4.3 server.  That is often possible.  The server will load
drivers older than it (but not newer).
