Howdy All,
been trying to get X up on a B&W G3 PowerMac (Yellow Dog Linux), but have had little luck.
when I ran Xautoconf, I was given an XF86Config file that won't boot into X.
My yaboot.conf file has a kernel arg of "video=ofonly" - don't know if that affects X or not?
Basically, HELP!!!
I'd like to be able to get into X - hopefully at a resolution that doesn't make me feel like I got my computer at Toys R Us (displaying thousands of colors would be sweet, too).
The 2 immediately following replies to this will be my XF86Config file and XFree86.0.log
thx in advance
