The via driver has its modes pretty much hardcoded. The closest thing in the open source driver is 1280x768.I tried that but it didn't work. I even tried with different combinations of UseBIOS, NoDDCValue and NoAccel without any luck. I've attached the logfile if that helps anything.
Does this mean that the via driver and/or CLE266 is really that crappy
and it's impossible to get 1280x720?
