I noticed when I configure xfree86, the changes I make to settings and names aren't reflected in the XF86Config.new file. I'm saving the new settings to the default location of /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/XF8Config and /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/X0-config.keyboard. -----Original Message----- From: xfree86-admin@xxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:xfree86-admin@xxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Pieter Hulshoff Sent: Wednesday, February 04, 2004 12:52 PM To: xfree86@xxxxxxxxxxx Cc: Bryan Subject: Re: configuring xfree86 help On Wednesday 04 February 2004 18:11, Bryan wrote: ><snip> > Section "Module" That's it or did it get cut off? Aside from the section Module not even being ended, there's hardly anything defined, least of all a (video) device. Does your distribution allow you to have a configuration generated automatically or would you like some assistance in setting one up?
