Hmm, is the dri module being loaded? I know FC1 doesn't turn on 3d
acceleration by default and you have to edit your XF86Config file and add
the dri modules.

Section "Module"
        Load  "dbe"
        Load  "extmod"
        Load  "fbdevhw"
        Load  "glx"
        Load  "record"
        Load  "freetype"
        Load  "type1"
        Load  "dri"                   #<<< Add this line
EndSection

You can also install the ATI drivers as well. They provide 3D support as
well.
