The Mandrake Linux (Version 9.0) Loaded just fine,
I logged in as a root, and I typed startx to get into the graphical mode, and I
got the following error.

The operating system I'm running is Mandrake Linux
9.0 Power Pack Edition.
The video hardware that I'm using is a Sony
CPD-G220R Monitor, and the video card
would be ATI Radeon 9000 PRO.
The problem is that, when in the text mode, I type
startx, and it is not doing what it is
supposed to be doing. The installation was
successful. What could be wrong.
