Hi, I have the next problem with my monitor: When I choice Thousands of colors depth of color, doesn't matter the resolution, the appearance is always like 800 * 600. When I choice 256 depth of colors, I could choice any resolution, but the depth's color isn't the optimum and dislike me. When I choice Millions of colors depth, the computer generates the log that I add in this mail. <<XFree86.0.log>> The characteristics of my Monitor are the next: DELL E172FP width 13.39 " high 10.63 " Refresh horizontal (KHz) 31.0-80.0 Refresh vertical (Hz) 56.0-75.0 Video Card: Intel 82865G Graphics Controller 64 MB Memory When I run the Hardware Monitor of Linux, it display the next information about my Video Card: Intel 82865 [Spring dale-G] Chipset Integrated Graphics Device. I need a resolution 1600*1200 and a Millions of colors depth. Could you help me? I'm beginner in Linux.
