To whom it may concern,
I just installed RedHat 9 dual booting with windows xp pro.
Everything went fine except for one thing. When i try to change the
screen resolution form 800X600 to 1024X768 or higher it says:
changes will take affect after i log out and restart the xserver.
I am pretty new to linux and have tried everything i can find on the
subject with no avail. Below is the result of the command startx
and the command /usr/X11R6/bin/Xconfigurator. I was told to try these.
but this is the result i am getting. Please help me out with anything
you can think of. I just want to make my screen bigger so i can see it
better. Its a Dell 8200 notebook fyi.
