since the XFree86 4.4 is about to release, I'd like to know whether it would be possible to obtain a driver for the ProSavage DDR400 (which should support what Acer describes as chipset-integrated S3 Graphics Savage8â AGP graphics core with default shared memory up to 64MB) that would be compatible with the 4.3 release, so that it won't be necessary to update the X server.
