I have worked through several issues when trying to compile XFree86-4.3.99.902.tar on SuSE 9. I had to work through installing some additional packages that were missing for a 'typical' install: bison-1.75-113.i586.rpm m4-1.4o-512.i586.rpm flex-2.5.4a-199.i586.rpm troxmw5h.rpm kernel-source-2.4.21-144.i586.rpm zlib-devel-1.1.4-232.i586.rpm The compile now goes for about 45min then errors out. I have not been able to find any causal on this error for archives or googling.
