hello i tried to install thetest version of linux kernel 2.6 i succesfully compiled and installed um my oc but when i started booting with my xfree86 was unable to start and it tried to reconfigure itself but it could not fix it i have installed NVIDIA Accelerated Graphics Driver for Linux-x86' (1.0-4363) driver for linux but this driver worked syccesfully with the kernel given in redhat linux 9 the logfile present says the following message present /var/log/Xfree86.setup.log ( _XSERVTransSocketOpen: socket() failed for local _XSERVTransSocketOpenCOTSServer: Unable to open socket for local _XSERVTransOpen: transport open failed for local/localhost.localdomain:17 _XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: failed to open listener for local Fatal server error: Cannot establish any listening sockets - Make sure an X server isn't already running When reporting a problem related to a server crash, please send the full server output, not just the last messages. This can be found in the log file "/dev/null".
