Edit your XF86Config file(may also have a -4 at the end).  Find 
"XkbModel" and set it to "rapidaccess2". Restart X. 
This will take care of the the server end. After that, you will have to 
figure out how to set global shortcuts for the app or desktop 
environment you want to use. Someone else may be able to help you with 
that.
