1280x1024@100Hz unable : ati radeon 7000, DELL P1130

I'm unable to get the 1280x1024@100Hz resolution (see config & log files).

computer : Dell precision 530
card : ati radeon 7000 (only one monitor is plug to it)
monitor : DELL P1130
dist. : redhat 7.3 valhalla
kernel 2.4.18-3smp
XFree86 Version 4.2.0
