If a mode is not listed in the BIOS you are, as they say, shit outta luck :-( the modes listed in my 855GM are 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1024x600, 1600x1200 and 1920x1440. Since I have a hi-res 1400x1050 mode, I'm also screwed. This is the fault of you're system manufacturer (in my case DELL).
