HI alok This could mean a lot of things. This happend to me before twice. The first time it works when I commented out the line in /etc/X11/XF86Config that dealt with FontPath The second time my permissions on the /tmp folder were wrong. Oh GOD! I don't want to remember those days . The worst in my life. I finally decided to reinstall Redhat linux 7.1!!!!!
