Linux Newbie-please help with Radeon 7000

I am running Red Hat Linux 7.1. I downloaded XFree86 4.3.0 from the web since Red Hat 7.1 would not support my card at all. I now have X running, but at a very low refresh rate-lots of flicker.
 
I have a radeon 7000ve with a Sony 15" CPD 100ES. The monitor and card specifications indicate capability to support much higher refresh rates than I am currently obtaining. I would like to have at least 75 Hz at 800 X 600. Can this be accomplished with my current installation of XFree86? I am including the log file.
 
Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
