Problème starting X Free

Hello everybody,

I installed XFree 4.3.0 on a FreeBsd 5.1

When i type startx, i have these message :

# startx
xauth: (argv):1:  bad display name ":0" in "list" command
Using authority file /root/.Xauthority

waiting for X server to shut down

xauth: (argv):1:  bad display name ":0" in "remove" command
xauth: (argv):1:  bad display name ":0" in "remove" command

When i make vi /root/.Xauthority , the file is empty.
Do you have an idea of the probleme, and what shoul I write on this file to avoid all those error message?
