Hi For a couple of years i've been running a triple headed X setup on my workstation and X has been completely stable. Unfortunately the workstation itself recently died, and i've replaced it with a new machine, AMD athlon on MSI 6378L motherboard. The board has an onboard trident cyberblade of some sort (identified by X as a Trident cyberblade generic). My other two cards are pretty old pci cards, a Tseng et6000 2Mb ram and an Sis 6326 8Mb ram. The Sis has some problems and needs to be run with a few features disabled. Anyway, I thought I had it all set up properly, but I'm getting really weird intermittent crashes, where my X session just goes 'bang' and I got dropped out to the console. There's no meaningful messages in /var/log/messages or /var/log/XFree86.0.log, but its starting to get out of control. It's impossible to reproduce the crash, it seems to basically happen randomly around once every hour or two. The remainder is some details on the setup, and more are available if you need em.
