[XFree86] Radeon 7000 with Red Hat 8

Is there any way to get a Radeon 7000 to work with Red Hat 8 (which uses 
XFree86 4.2.x) : I see that it is supported by XFree86 4.3.x which is 
installed by Red Hat 9 and indeed this works fine on my system. However I 
really need to use RH8. Can I simply install XFree86 4.3 onto RH8 to resolve 
this ??
I am a Linux newbie so apologies if this is a dumb question but I have spent 
some time searching the web for an answer and got a useless reply from 
Connect3D support (my Radeon 7000 supplier). Thanks. Also if I do need to 
install XFree86 4.3.x then is there an .rpm anywhere ?
