In general, the only thing the server needs to know about the monitor is the horizontal and vertical sync ranges, which you can put in the Section "Monitor" in the XF86Config file. From information I see on the web, for the fujitsu-siemens S7 these appear to be: HorizSync 30 - 80 VertRefresh 60 - 75 Mark.
