Hi, I have an older application that requires a PseudoColor 8-bit visual, however all of my visuals currently are TrueColor 24-bit visuals. Is there a way to have both PseudoColor visuals and TrueColor visuals at the same time? I have tried "startx -- -depth 8", and it does create a PseudoColor visual (and others), but then my colormaps are very rough for all my other applications. I am running XFree86 v4.3 that came with my RedHat 9 release. My video card is ATI Radeon 8500LE. Any ideas???
