[XFree86] Xfree86 with GeForce4 on Intel

Hi,

I have installed Solaris 8 on my Intel P4 PC, however, my nVidia Geforce4 video card is not supported. I have checked the internet and few people suggested installing xfree86 with the nv drivers. I have downloaded xfree86 version 4.30, but cannot install it because I keep getting the error not finding library –lstdc++ when make is doing the “ld” command. How should I fix this problem and continue with my installation, or better yet, is there a binary built that have the GeForce4 driver built-in that I can download. I really want to use Solaris on my PC, but if I have to use the default settings of 480x640 and not my video card, I will have no choice but use XP. Thanks for helping.

Steve
