I'm currently using RH 7.1 and XFree86 4.0.3 on 2 "old" Thinkpad 560 laptops,
one with DTSN and one with TFT screen.
I have been trying for days to upgrade these boxes, and can't get a usable display
when using XFree86 4.3.0 which is provided by RH 9 and many other distributions
I have tried.
I'm hoping someone else has sucessfully got 4.3.0 to work on a TP 560. All the
information on the web for these laptops is ancient, and I really want to upgrade.
I have tried modelines from my working XF86Config, and like other folks, the server
just displays a "garbage" screen.
The laptops use a Trident 9382/9385 chip.
