Using my regular X11 4.3 runing kernel mandrake 2.4.13 on 9.1 version it's perfect.
But runing my compiled kernel 2.4.22 I get the stuff like VT_ACTIVE VT_WAITACTIVATE VT_GETMODE failed and XIO fatal IO error 104
