[XFree86] Xv driver in i810 weirdness in XFree86 4.3

Hi,

When I tried to run mplayer/xine/vlc using the XVideo
driver, the screen seems to be 'shifted' to the right
in a sense that the supposed to pixel (0,0) becomes
pixel (800,0) and it sort of 'wrap around' back to the
left hand side of the display and the middle part is
plain blank. I would try to make a visual explanation
below :

desired result(assuming it is a horizonal line)

123456789011121314151616171820

what appears on screen

1617181920 12345678

Other than this, everything seems to be fine. The
display chipset is i815M on a Dell 2500 notebook with
LCD display at 1024x768

Has anyone seen this problem before or any pointer how
I should tackle it ?

thanks and in advance. Please CC if possible as I
haven't subscribed to this list.

regards,

gary
