[XFree86] Strange OpenGL problem with Matrox G400

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I have a Matrox G400 card and found a problems in OpenGL. Sometimes
rendered image is currupted and it looks like the textures are not
loaded or loaded only partially. This problems does not occur in native
Quake3 but usually exist when I try to run games via wine/winex. Later I
thought it was a wine/winex problem but I found the same behaviour in
Planeshift game, and 'ray' demo from Mesa demos. This problem reproduces
in both 16bpp and 32(24+8)bpp modes with different resolutions
(1280x1024 and 640x480) and with different texture sizes (the default
for the demo is 256x256 but I tried 128x128 and 32x32). This problems
occured only when direct rendering was enabled.

I use XFree86 4.3.0 (Release date: 27 February 2003, Build date: 19 July
2003), Linux kernel 2.4.20-gentoo-r5, Gentoo Linux.

Does anyone has any ideas?
