I have a couple of problems regarding my computer systems.
Problem 1:
I have a query regarding my computer system. I have a Pentium-I class computer the description of which is: 1. Pentium-I (S) @ 100 MHz CPU 2. Intel i430-VX Chipset original motherboard from Intel
i430-VX-AI5V-90/100/133/150/175/200 05-04-1996
The largest harddisk supported by my motherboard is 8.4 GB. My BIOS version is 1.0 01
Is it possible that by some means (for eg. upgrading my BIOS) that my motherboard can recognize a bigger harddisk.

Problem 2:
I have a IBM Netvista 6824-42A computer with Intel 845 Chipset. I failed to get x-working with Linux Red hat 8.0. I upgraded to Linux 9.0 and got the x . But i have still not able to get the desired resolution/display which at present is set at 800*600. i am trying by going to settings>display>resolution no luck.
I shall be highly grateful for an early solution for the same.
Thanking you
