I am very pleased to announce the release of XFree86 4.6.0. This release
comes about a year after the 4.5.0 release, and is the product of the
work of dedicated volunteers. I would like to thank all who have
contributed to this release, through code, testing, and other feedback,
and all who continue to support XFree86 and the work of its volunteer
developers.

Source, patches, and binaries for a range of platforms are available now
for download from our ftp site:

   ftp://ftp.xfree86.org/pub/XFree86/4.6.0/
