I did have this problem with xcursorgen before (2-3 months ago) but it was solved later (it was a problem with the cvs tree).
I just downloaded the latest cvs and compiled it again without any problems (using gcc 3.2) so the current cvs should work.

I did install libpng and then it finds the png.h, but this compile still
have problem with xcursorgen :(
I tried to install the released sources and this works perfectly (I
mean : compiling and installing, but this version still has no support
for the i845), so I think something is missing in the cvs version I
did download.
Any idea ?
