my setup might be what your are talking about.

all the mice and keyboards work simultaneously.

the USB switch allows the devices connected to
the hub to control either of the three computers.

the USB mice/kybds are cordless units from logitech

cables and switch were $1.50each and $18.00 from 
cableclub.com
