-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello, I've used Redhat 8 as my primary operating system for a few months now. I've tried many times to add in truetype fonts, but the system will only recognize about 15 fonts which are all horrible. In XF86Config I have freetype loaded, and tried the other TTF loader also (can't remember the name at the moment), which didn't work. I've got the path to the TTF fonts in FontPath, and I've created the fonts.dir, fonts.scale, and encodings.dir files. No matter what I do I can't get the TTFs, or any other font besides the 75dpi's, to display. When I remove the 75's from the font path, the system can't start X even with the other fonts and I have to ssh in to fix the problem. Any ideas? --- Regards, Anthony Gorecki -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE9z0ot0wrsL2tBBhIRAqxDAKCX5OEXAcmZQjUmw97y0AJEqS1mQQCfai8x KlBakzehvWYP0l1qcmNZdC0= =TcQP -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Newbie@XFree86.Org *** To unsubscribe , or change message options, see: http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/newbie
