Hi - I having problems with XFree86 running Linux Redhat 7.3 ver 4.1.18-10
on
i686 an AMD MX 1800 512MB ram 80 GB HD.
I installed
NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-3123.rh73up_2.4.18_10.athlon.rpm and
NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-3123.i386.rpm
These are the error message. When I boot I sometimes I get a blank screen
after
vmlimu is loaded.
I can go into windows and do a startx (that is where these messages come
from)
and then go the the Linux screen and logout of X11 it takes me to my login
prompt.
I have tried several setting in the config file listed at the end. My NVIDIA
card should
handle 800x600 and did for ahwile.
My monitor has ranges from Ho Freg 31.47 to 63.974 KHZ and
Vert.Freq 60-85 HZ. In windows I can run 1024x768 but I just use 800x600.
Any ideas?
