XF86config-4 Resolution problems, can't go above 1280x1024

I have a Dell P1110 21" Trinitron monitor and a IBM Thinkpad X23 running
Redhat 7.3. My problem is that I cannot get X to go above a resolution
of 1280x1024 at 85Hz. Here is an excerpt from my XF86Config-4 file:

Section "Monitor"
	Identifier "Monitor1"
	VendorName "Unknown"
	ModelName "Unknown"
	HorizSync 30.0-121.0
	VertRefresh 48.0-160.0
	Option "dpms"

	Modeline "1400x1050@75" 176.64 1400 1432 2096 2128 1050 1070 1083 1103
EndSection

The Modeline wasn't working correctly. I want my monitor to be a
1400x1050 resolution. In Windows XP this computer can drive the monitor
at a much higher resolution 1600x... Any ideas as to how to get the
monitor to run at a higher refresh rate, as I am out of ideas.

The Thinkpad is running an ATI Radeon Mobility M6.

Thanks,
Aaron
