Hello, I'm installing Debian Woody kernel 2.4.18 (PC specs: Athlon 1GHz processor using an NVidia TNT2 M64 32MB videocard and has 128 MB memory) and have problems starting Xwindows.When I configure it using dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86 and disabling framebuffer, I get the following error message Fatal server error: xf86MapVidMem: Could not mmap framebuffer (0xe2000000,0x1f40000) (Cannot allocate memory) If I enable framebuffer using dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86, I get: (EE)Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration. Fatal server error: no screens found I've attached the corresponding XF86config-4 and XFree86.0.log files (XFree86.0.log.FB when framebuffer is enabled and Xfree86.0.log.noFB when disabled. SImilarly XF86Config-4.noFB and XF86Config-4.FB). Also,I noticed that when I type: cat /proc/fb I get 0 VGA16 VGA Can anyone help?
