Wheres Waldo? (In my case: the '/xc' directory?)

Hi. I am running Slackware Linux 8.1, and after much
weeping and gnshing of teeth, *finally* got my xserver
configured. I currently have (X)4.2.0 . Then I found
out about (X)4.2.1 . There may be some fixes in it
which I may need. So far, so good. But where the
heck is the /xc directory? I've been using 'ls -a'
for about four hours now and getting nowhere. (As
a side note, I *did* find a ./sawfish directory, so I
can install my nifty new theme, after I patch X...).

I guess my other question is, would this query be more
the domain of Slackware? From the site, I got the
impression that all things X should be posted here
(maybe first??).

Any input at all on this would be appreciated.

Thanx,
      Tarkin
