Not matching pci device

Hello fellow newbies (and xperts),
I have not subscribed to the list so I'd appreciate a direct reply.

I'm Using redhat 7.2 on a older Dell PE2300 which has a built in trident
video card that is not supported.
I disabled that card and installed an ati rage 128, which kudzu found with
out an issue, but for some reason it wouldn't let me complete the xconfig &
I ended up skipping it.

Now when x tries to load I end with this message:
(II) Primary Device is : PCI 00:0a:0
(--) Assigning device section with no busID to primary device
(WW) R128: No matching device for section for instance (BusID PCI 1:0:0)
found
(EE) No devices found

I believe, since the PCI 'slot' changed for the video card, it causes this
message.

How do I change the config to work properly? I've fished around in the
/etc/X11 dir but didn't see any tags that made sense.

Please help.

Thanks
Ron
