Hello I have been trying to setup X on a friend's laptop which is a Dell Inspiron 2650. It has a 14" 1024x768 XGA screen and NVidia GeForce card. He's running RedHat 7.3. We used Xconfigurator to try set things up. When we test X, something gets displayed but the screen keeps scrolling real fast. I felt that the graphics card was getting setup properly but the TFT screen wasn't being setup right i.e. wrong hsync/vsync frequency values were being used. Any suggestions ?
