i am trying to run an x server on a freebsd 4.6 with xfree 4.2.... i dont really know my scree specifications...i on ly know it is an iiyama 19''monitor, pretty recent (aint mine of course, i m at work ;-) and i put some random specs, thinking it may work..... but then whenever i try to run the startx command.... it gives me this outpu : xf86enableIO: Failed to open /dev/io for extended I/O and then it crashes.... i dont really know what to do with that...so if anyone out there can help me..it would be greatly appreciated... thanks in advance....
